‹ Return to Faith over love?
From my perspective, morality and ethical behavior occur independently of religion. These values are not a product of religion, religion (at least originally) was a product of them. Over the centuries, like any concept, the purpose of religion has evolved from serving the greater good by spreading worthwhile ideas, more toward serving the institution and self-defense. Today, it can be literally counterproductive to invoke religion in a diverse audience, regardless of the topic of discussion, simply because it has become a polarizing issue. Consider how it will change the discussion before introducing religion in to any conversation.
